once upon a time,
I planted a apple tree
to celebrate the birth of a sisters daugher,
she grew up infant to small girl,
in school clothes and long pony tail
innocently,the first born
her brothers, not yet on the scene,
quiet and sensitive, inquisitve and enthusiatic
when we would get togethere for our visit
she would talk to me about Dora;
a cartoon mate with a backpack like hers,
she was adventureous this little pip of fiction
Curiosity killed the cats questions about how or
why the world around her spins and grows wildly
developement of species labeled human evolution
changes the ground we walk on everyday,
rebererations from down under or upstream
her husband had lost two of his fingers
working in the community gold mine
called El dorato, to bravely oppose
