canada day hippy festival

I have now gone on a safari. paid my money had a tour guide... but before all that tourist stuff i was a roadie. i had the privilage of chilling with the band, Souls of the Ghetto, minibussing with them from Mzuzu to Lilongwe then finally to Liwonde. The are Dave, Mark, Kennedy, Mark and the bassist who i forget. At this party in the park they played with other bands, mabingu and the black missionaries. i took a cap nap during there set, tired from early mornings traveling south. Liwonde National park- a canoe on the Shire river with hippos and crown birds; a night drive where i saw a elephants and siral cats and jackals. then the early morning game walk, climbing up hill to see antelopes and bull elephants. Leaving the park i rode on the back of pickup filled with empties with my friend Elise, glass soda bottles rattling.
